1. High-Temperature Bamboo Sawdust Charcoal

High-Temperature Bamboo Sawdust Charcoal is typically refined at temperature above 800°C. It is smokeless, odorless, contains characteristics such as high heat value, stable and long-lasting combustion & no flammable oil dripping. It is currently the most popular commercial barbecue charcoal in the barbecue industry.

However, this type of charcoal places extremely high demands on the manufacturer's equipment, charcoal-making process, and the skills of the charcoal-making technicians. Due to the performances of equipment and the skill of the charcoal-making technicians across different factories vary, product quality varies significantly, leading to price differentiation. Lower-quality High-Temperature Bamboo Sawdust Charcoal can be 70-120 USD cheaper per ton than mid-quality charcoal, and the price difference with the highest-quality product can even reach as much as 350 USD/ton.

2. Medium-Temperature Bamboo Sawdust Charcoal

Medium-Temperature Bamboo Sawdust Charcoal is more of a "transitional product," with a wide range of quality—lower and higher temperatures produce very different results. Its maximum carbonization temperature is typically around 600-750°C. While this may seem similar with High-Temperature Charcoal (800°C+), the requirements for equipment and craftsmanship are significantly different.

It's like taking an exam: improving from 60 to 80 is relatively easy, but improving from 90 to 98 requires exponentially more effort for each additional point.

3. Low-Temperature Bamboo Sawdust Charcoal

The production process for Low-Temperature Bamboo Sawdust Charcoal is relatively simple, but it has significant drawbacks: short combustion duration, low heat output, and a tendency to produce smokes easily, which can also cause burns when grilling. Currently, this kind of charcoal is facing market saturation, with a severe oversupplies.
